cloud based this and cloud based that, what about the traffic that comes with that? , i pay a lot for mobile internet and i`m not willing to pay a **** load more just so i can use my ipod, why wold i pay my cell phone network every time i want to listen to a song i already pay`d for.
As far as i`m concern cloud based stuff shod be introduced when cell phone network providers are willing to give unlimited traffic plans at a decent cost, until that time it`s pure nonsense.

Oh great. I'm going to have to tie up my Internet connection for a long period of time to update my 4G iPod touch and iPad 2 for the 4.3.2 update.
I REALLY hope that Apple does incremental updates of iOS starting with iOS 5.0 to save us from tying up the broadband connection for such a long period of time.
Am I the only person who sets up a big download, then goes to bed?

No cloud for me.
Paying 20 bucks a year is not much, but I'm also paying 60 bucks a month for standard Internet access, and 30 bucks a month for my Phone's data+voice plan. To make matters worse Dutch telco's, one by one, are starting to impose data limits on their plans which means that if you go over the limit, they make you pay through the nose.
No, thanks.

Apple has received a great deal of favorable publicity in the last year as it introduced the iPhone and increased market share in computer sales. Whenever a company gets that kind of publicity, a number of people will buy its stock simply because it was mentioned in the newspapers, without really analyzing whether the stock was actually worth that or not. This halo effect can last as long as six months to a year, but it disappears on the appearance of any bad news, in this case a market downturn.
Apple was grossly overvalued because of all the publicity, so it was the first stock to be dumped when the market turned down. Now it is probably grossly undervalued. Personally, I stay away from volatility. There are too many people who are trading stocks, as opposed to investing in companies. There is a big difference. One is looking for a quick profit on a short-term change in price; the other is looking for long-term accumulation of value.
The short-term traders often do quite well and they brag about their successes, but overall their investments do not do as well as if they had put their money in slot machines in Vegas. That is why I stay away from volatility.

Drive arrays can easily exceed 10 Gbps - today a 2 drive RAID 0 array can hit 10 Gbps.
Single drives faster than TBolt already exist - 12 Mbps SSD drive (http://www.fusionio.com/products/iodriveduo/).
TBolt devices haven't even hit the market, but TBolt is already too slow for many uses.
12Mbps? you sure you didn't mean 1.5GBs?

Wondering if were going to have a game or not?
It's better to wait longer before starting if you get more players (should at least have 15).
"Don't Panic" said he will play but I didn't see his name on the list.
I'll play and bring some popcorn in anticipation of another "Don't Panic" / Aggie argument :).
Note: I have a bunch of work coming up so I may not be as active (posting) as usual :(.

An "average" sustainable long distance pace (12km/h, about 8mph) will burn through about 1000 calories an hour. I suspect she's not running quite that much ;)
I seem to remember people out in the Arctic / Antartic tend to eat ~ 6000 calories a day, since so much is lost due to cold, etc. Maybe she lives in her fridge most of the day? (Which would explain the calorie intake too!) :)

Traditionally the Eskimo's ate 6000 calories a day... mostly animal fat. They needed that much to survive a hunter gatherer lifestyle in a very cold climate.

You have to realize one thing. Without market share, company like Apple can not make profit.
To wit:
Market share has no correlation with profit.

A very "noobish" question.....Are iMac's upgradable? The reason i ask is because my current computer is a Dell XPSONE 24 (all in one machine). It has been great, but is rapidly becoming outdated. I can no longer update my graphics card without issues and due to the machines design i cannot upgrade the graphics card. (power supply cannot handle anything better).
I am really considering the iMac because i love the all-in-one designs and fits what i need. However, i don't want to be stuck in this same situation in 2 -3 years.
You can upgrade memory and harddrives (there are two internal connectors and if you count the optical drive, three) but opening up requires suction cups (and preferably a dust-free environment).
But more importantly, the standard way to upgrade a Mac is sell the old model and get a new one. The resale value of used Macs is pretty high, have a look at E-bay prices.

1) When will the iPhone 5 actually be released?
2) Should I go to Chipotle for lunch?

Hey Apple - ya think your user base might be interested in Flash??
Lol.
Yeah, you know what's best for us users though - so we should be elated that you are resisting support for it tooth and nail.
Well, in perspective it doesn't really mean much -- Apple has sold 33 million iPhones, so that's 1% which were interested in SkyFire / Flash.
Lol.

matte screen option or fail.
Given that the option is available for the macbook pro, I'd guess the imacs will get them.
